R: 'gm convert' in 1.5 and 1.7

It works better: 'test2.pdf' has an acceptable size of 299496 bytes 
(296578 with GM in Cygwin-1.5); but the original behavior, without 
'-compress jpeg', would be preferable (it would avoid to change a bunch 
of scripts...)
